Celebrating 92 Years of Service to God!!!
"Meeting the Mandate of God to Meet the Needs of God's People"
Matthew 28: 19-20, Luke 4:18-19
We are a congregation of believers that are compelled by Christ to fulfill
Matthew 28:19-20 and Luke 4:18-19
"And Jesus came unto them and spake unto them saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations , baptizing them in tthe name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world, Amen."
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me for He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.
(II Timothy 3:16-17, I Peter 1:21, Matthew 3:15-17, II Corinthians 13-14)
We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man; that He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life, in which He taught and wrought mighty works, wonders, and signs revealed in the Gospels; that He was crucified, died for our sins, and was raised from the dead body. Later He ascended to the Fathers right hand where He is the head of the Church, intercedes for believers, and shall return in a personal, visible and imminent manifestation.
(Matthew 1:18, 21-23, Hebrews 4:15, Matthew 28:6, Matthew 16:18, Acts 1:11)
We believe in salvation through the redeeming blood of Christ by repentance to God. We are justified by our faith in Jesus Christ and our confession of His Lordship in our lives. We believe that such salvation is entirely apart from good works, baptism, church membership, or our effort and is of pure grace.
(Hebrews 9:22, Romans 10:9-10, 13, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 6:23)
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides divine healing for us in answer to believing prayer.
(I Peter 2:24, Psalms 103:2-3, James 5:15)
We believe that a true believer is eternally secure, that we cannot lose our salvation, but that sin will interrupt the joy of our fellowship with God and bring the loving chastisement of our Heavenly Father.
(John 10:28-30, John 3:16, Romans 8:1)
We believe that it is the goal of every believer to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to the Word of God and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
(John 10-10, Ephesians 3:20, Philippians 4:13)
We believe in water baptism and the observance of the Lords Supper.
(John 22:19-20, Mark 14:22-24, Matthew 26:26-28, Matthew 28:19-20)
